Well I'm absolutely astonished as to how the van now drives, it drove well originally (as you know on the test run) .. but now it really does FLY like I can't believe ... it just takes off like the proverbial scolded cat ! the amount of torque now on tap makes driving this a laugh a minute :-) ... Lol..
On my 80 mile trip back I've never had so much fun! I will let you know over the nest few weeks or so what mpg I'm getting ... I was already getting an excellent 29/30mpg with the K&N fitted with sensible driving ... hopefully this will improve a bit as well after the remap.
The remap is the best investment I've made for a vehicle... and I can recommend it 100% to anyone who wants more drivability & smiles per mile all over the rev range.
You're a true professional & know your stuff, I & will recommend your services to anyone with a vehicle that you can tune... I can't speak highly enough of you or your remap service.. brilliant.

Apologies for the the delayed follow up re my luton you re-mapped a good few weeks ago now.
The van goes better than ever now after settling ... it just fly's .. even fully loaded with 1.2t of furniture it
will go up my local killer hill (Fish hill, Nr Broadway, Worces) in 4th gear @ 45mph .. unbelievable.
Fuel consumption is running @ 32.7mpg unloaded / 55mph / distance, and 26.9mpg fully loaded 55mph / distance , both a 5.5% improvement.
Am sooo pleased with the re-map, best money ever spent on a vehicle... any folks considering having a " Martyn Re-Map " .. GO and di it NOW
you won't regret it.
Will be back again for another re-map when I replace the van next year.

"Hi Martin, here at last are the photos of my van. The van running great, fuel improved to 8+ miles per litre (36/38 MPG) It was getting about 7miles to the litre, now gets 8 thats about 14% increase.
approx.. 30mpg.....to 37mpg. Power enormous just flies up hills in top gear and pulls my boat as if it wasn't there.... well pleased!.. Just need to get a through exhaust so that I can hear the power....

Posted the ECU to Vantuner on Tuesday got it back on the Thursday and what can I say? I noticed the difference as soon as I engaged the clutch! Power and torque are vastly improved, it's nothing like it was before. Decent acceleration, overtaking uphill and maintaining high (80mph) motorway speeds. Towing performance is also much better and is no longer the chore it was even with trailers up to the limit (around 1.5T), cheers Martyn! |

Power tuned to improve midrange acceleration, and engine noise / knock was significantly reduced after the tuning even on tickover.
Customer chose the i-map self remapping device but had us install it onsite with a custom tune. (cost £360 plus £40 fitting ). |
